Who can understand Lord,
The riches of Your grace?
And Your glory that’s reflected

The cross was but a moment;
Satan thought he’d won that day -
But You were not surprised Lord;
Because You planned it that Way.

They didn’t push Him to Calvary;
He walked and carried His cross.
They didn’t force those nails in His hands;
He took them for the lost.

Before time You knew my sin,
And still Your mercy pours -
How precious God that You are mine,
And that You call me Yours.
V.
Our cold dead hearts serve self and sin,
When left to their own will,
Refusing God and all His ways,
Which only He could fulfill.
VI.
What a beautiful plan He made,
On His throne above.
He could have crushed Satan at the Fall,
But instead He won our love.
